Test your architectural skills in Blueprints of Mad King Ludwig, a flip-and-sketch strategy game to draw the most extravagant blueprints for King Ludwig's next castle!
Select rooms to add to your castle's floor plan. As you complete rooms' entrances by connecting them to other rooms, earn new abilities such as adding or removing entrances, earning new bonus cards, and taking extra turns. Keep your eye on the King's favors to beat out your opponents for public goals, as well as create courtyards and moats around your castle for some massive points to get ahead! The player who sketches the castle most suited to the whims of King Ludwig takes the royal victory!

Today marks a new day in King Ludwig’s realm! Bezier Games is pleased to announce: Castles of Mad King Ludwig Renovations!
We consistently hear from gamers that they would like more rooms, and more expansions! While the Collector’s Edition has numerous new rooms, and new expansions, game designer Ted Alspach kept this feedback in mind during playtesting. After Castles of Mad King Ludwig Collector’s Edition was in production, Ted had a revelation for a brilliant new expansion.
Castles of Mad King Ludwig Renovations expansion contains special double room type tiles that you can use to renovate your castle WHILE you build it! Get double the completion rewards, and fulfill favors twice as fast with a wide variety of renovations in every size. Renovations give you two completion rewards, successfully place them on an already-completed room and you will score both rewards instantly!
Renovations is themed with their dual nature in mind, creating TWO new rooms per tile. Renovations are placed on top of existing rooms, so entrances are still in place, but the room is completely refurbished! Dozens of renovations are included in this expansion, but you’ll only choose from as many as there are rooms available for sale in the market. Castles of Mad King Ludwig Renovations launches on Kickstarter November 1st!

Damaged Boxes
As fulfillment is almost complete, we are able to move forward with the issue of reported damaged boxes. If you haven’t opened your shipment yet, please do so now and make sure your copy is okay! Contact us at [email protected] with photos and details of any damaged boxes.
The copies damaged in the shipping process were an unfortunate result of a miscommunication within our manufacturing company on appropriate packaging materials; as a result, they have agreed to replace damaged boxes. If you received a damaged product, and have not emailed us yet, please email us a description and photos of the damage to [email protected]by the end of this week: Friday September 30th. Make sure to include "Box Damage" in the subject of your email. If you haven’t received your pledge yet, please open it as soon as it arrives and email us if you have received a damaged copy.

As shipments continue to be delivered, we are asking anyone who has received a damaged product to email us a description and photos of the damage to [email protected] Before any action is taken, we need to know how many of each kind of box has been damaged. Once fulfillment is complete, we will be able to give a final tally of damaged boxes to our manufacturer and finalize our solution based on number and shipping lanes.
We have been seeing a couple of comments about the size of the scoreboards and some players being unable to reach it. One solution is to try the Bezier Games way! The way we have been playing is that the Master Builder goes to the scoreboard on their turn to: reveal room cards, place room tiles on the market, and assist other players if needed. For example: moving swan markers when players place their rooms & calculate points, handing out Bonus Cards or Tower Favors, or slide the rooms down the table. Here is Colossal setup on a 5'x5' table for 5 players!
